Team India’s preparations for Pink-Ball Test struck by Big Blow as Rain poses Threat on Warm-up match vs Prime Minister’s XI

During the opening Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy between India and Australia in Perth, not many people expected the hosts to lead the series 1-0. Indian team broke all expectations as they registered a 295 run victory over the hosts.

There were concerns regarding Mohammed Siraj and Harshit Rana being able to support Jasprit Bumrah, but both stood up to the expectations of the stand-in captain.

India has not played a lot of Day-Night Tests, and the last time they were up against Australia in a Pink ball Test was when they were taken down for 36.

There is a decent gap between the first and the second Test, and Indian team is going to partake in the warm-up game against Prime Minister’s XI from November 30 to December 1st in order to prepare for the upcoming important clash.

Unfortunately India might not get enough time to practice as there is prediction of heavy rain in Canberra on match day. As per AccuWeaherthe conditions are going to be overcast with nearly 100 percent chance of rain on November 30.

Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill return to the Playing XI for the second Test, as Devdutt Padikkal and Dhruv Jurel will make way for the star players to feature in the match.
