Saachi Pai is an online fitness coach according to her Instagram bio. Based out of Toronto currently, Saachi shares her incredible weight loss journey of over two years online with over 63.5K followers. Weight loss rules and habits can be different physiologically for women. But nothing is impossible and Saachi shows how. In one of her posts about her learning from her journey, she share six rules that works best for her.
How to Reduce Body Fat?
Saachi shares about her diet, weight loss tips, her takeaways and also runs online classes. In one of her transformation related post she captioned, I lost 40 kgs from Sept 2022 to Dec 2023. There is so much I learnt on my journey of 15 months but now 9 months after it I am still learning everything about the process of losing weight and it’s fascinating that it’s not that complicated. Only because there is so much info out there and everyone trying to make it sound complicated it seems like it’s impossible to achieve.”
Here is what worked truly worked for Saachi:
- Focus on food you consume ! Don’t complicate it – plate your food such a way that every meal has at least 30 grams of protein, some good carbs ( avoid over processed), lots of veggies , and focus on using less fat ( oil / ghee is okay but measure it)
- Don’t over do the cardio , get weight training in ! At least 2-3 days a week
- Don’t listen to every magic formula for weight loss just focus on one thing for a month or two and then move to next habit
- Walking is game changing ! Get started
- Water and sleep are super important to avoid lose skin so focus on that ( moisturising and supplements help as an add on)
- Don’t compare your journey with others , stress makes losing weight much more difficult!
Saachi believes that every journey is different and one must not listen to every other ‘magic formula’. She also emphasises that among the six things she listed, the most important and a game changer was walking.
