But with the Champions Trophy under threat of elimination, fans believe the PCB has not done enough to maintain its position or garner enough support to oppose a powerful team like India. PCB and Naqvi are not taking adequate steps
Mohsin Naqvi is clearly under criticism here, because Naqvi is not only the PCB chief but also the Federal Home Minister in the Government of Pakistan. All the reactions have come as Islamabad is unable to control the ongoing unrest in Pakistan. All this is damaging the PCB. The sudden outrage of cricket fans actually matches the sentiments of the fans. They feel that Pakistan will not be able to retain its right to host the Champions Trophy, especially as fans are angry after no decision was taken at the ICC meeting today.
