Bangladesh should immediately release Chinmoy Krishna Das, RSS reaction on the issue of atrocities on Hindus.

New Delhi. Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has also protested against the attacks on Hindus in Bangladesh and the arrest of ISKCON's Chinmoy Krishna Das Prabhu. Sangh's Sarkaryavah Dattatreya Hosabale has termed the arrest of Chinmoy Krishna Das as unjust and has demanded his immediate release. He has also called upon the interim government of Bangladesh to immediately stop the atrocities on Hindus. The Sangh has also asked the Government of India and other global organizations to raise their voice for the victims of Bangladesh and make every possible effort for world peace.

Dattatreya Hosabale said that the attacks, murders, looting, arson and inhuman atrocities on women by Islamic fundamentalists on Hindus and all minorities in Bangladesh are extremely worrying. RSS condemns this act. Instead of stopping these atrocities, the Bangladesh government has become a mute spectator. Hindus are being forced to raise their voice to protect themselves and on the contrary, a new era of injustice and atrocities seems to be emerging to suppress them. Similarly, sending ISKCON monk Chinmoy Krishna Das, who was leading Hindus in peaceful protests, to jail by the interim government of Bangladesh is an unjust action. The Sangh calls upon the Bangladesh government to stop the atrocities on Hindus in Bangladesh and to immediately release Chinmay Krishna Das from jail.

On behalf of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, the Government of India was also requested to continue its efforts to stop the atrocities on Hindus and other minorities in Bangladesh. Not only this, gather support from the global community on this serious issue. This statement of the Sangh has come at a time when three temples have been damaged again in Bangladesh today.
