New Delhi: WWE Undisputed Champion Cody Rhodes defeated Carmelo Hayes in WWE Smackdown at the Delta Center in Salt Lake City, Utah on November 30, Saturday. Rhodes and Hayes started things off by head-locking each other. Hayes slapped Rhodes in the middle of the ring.
Hayes then attempted a side headlock on Rhodes, but Rhodes escaped and put Hayes on the floor. Rhodes then hit a disaster kick on Hayes. Both fighters are fighting on the ringside but Rhodes picked him and gave a suplex from the second rope.
Fans started chanting Cody’s name and Rhodes ran down the ropes and took down Hayes. Both were exchanging blows and then Rhodes went for his signature move crossroads but Hayes countered it Rhodes caught him in the second attempt and hit him with the crossroads and pinned Hayes to win the match.
In the main event of the night, Jacob Fatu was taking on Jey Uso, Both started to stare down each other after the bell rang. Fati made the first blow by sending Jey to the ropes but Jey hit him with his right hook but Fatu countered it by making a big shoulder tackle.
Fatu slapped Jey and mocked him in the middle of the ring. Fatu then dominated the match by stomping Jey and sending him to the corner. Jey stood up and ran through the ropes but Fatu caught him and pushed him to the announce table.
Jey was down in the match, Fatu was kicking him and sending him to the ring posts. Finally, Jey bounced back, blocked his punch, and hit some shots, but Fatu didn’t go down.
Fatu attacked Jey in the ring post and connected him with a big moonsault, pinning Jey down and winning the match.
