Kolhapuri Mirchi Thecha Recipe: There is a different pleasure in eating spicy food in cold weather. In such a situation, there is always a search for something which has that taste. Today we are going to tell you the recipe of one such spicy dish, Kolhapuri Mirchi Ka Thecha. It is perfect for seasoning the food plate. This green chutney not only enhances the taste of food, but the spices present in it are also beneficial for health. It is made in a few minutes and can be stored for 2 days. Material
- Green chilli – 100 grams
- Garlic – 15 to 20 cloves
- Roasted peanuts – 50 grams
- Cumin – 1 teaspoon
- Salt – as per taste
- Oil- 2 to 3 spoons
Kolhapuri Mirchi Thecha Recipe
1- First of all, wash, wipe the chilli and break its stalks. Cut it into three pieces and keep it in a plate.
2- Now put oil in a pan on the gas and heat it. When it becomes hot, add cumin seeds and fry it.
3- Now add garlic to it and cook it well. Before the garlic turns pink, add chopped green chillies and cook.
4- Let it cook on medium flame for 3 to 4 minutes. When it starts becoming slightly soft, add roasted peanuts without the peel and cook it for 1-2 minutes.
5- Then keep it on low flame and add salt. Keep in mind that it should not be cooked covered.
6- Now when all the things are lightly cooked, turn off the flame and leave it to cool for some time.
7- When it cools down a bit, either grind it on a sealed grater or pound it well in a mortar and pestle.
8- If both are not there, then grind them coarsely in the mixer little by little for 4 to 5 seconds. Kolhapuri thecha is ready.
