Arrest warrant issued against former cricketer Robin Uthappa, know what are the allegations
Bengaluru: An arrest warrant has been issued against former Indian cricketer Robin Uthappa on Saturday. According to news reports, this warrant is related to a case of Employees Provident Fund (EPFO). The Regional PM Commissioner of Bengaluru had issued this warrant on December 4, but the cricketer was not found at his home in Bengaluru.
According to the information received, Robin is in Dubai with his family. Uthappa is associated with Centuries Life Style Brands Pvt. Ltd. He is accused of deducting PF amount from the salary of the employees, but this amount has not been deposited in their PF account.

Was part of 2007 T-20 World Cup
Robin Uthappa, a resident of Karnataka, was a part of the Indian team that won the 2007 T-20 World Cup. India won the T-20 World Cup title by defeating Pakistan by 5 runs under the captaincy of Mahendra Singh Dhoni. Robin had scored 8 runs in the final match against Pakistan.
Uthappa played 46 ODI and 13 T-20 International matches for India. He scored 934 runs with the help of 6 fifties in ODI. In T-20, Uthappa scored 249 runs with the help of one fifty.
Robin Uthappa had announced his retirement from all formats of cricket in the year 2022. Even after this he continued playing IPL. Uthappa has played IPL for Chennai, Kolkata and Mumbai.
