Why RCF shares rally sharply over 5% today? Explained

Rashtriya Chemicals and Fertilizers (RCF) shares moved up more than 5% today after the announcement of a new bilateral agreement between India and Russia aimed at strengthening fertiliser supply cooperation.

According to the government, Indian firms have signed an agreement with Russia’s Uralchem to set up a urea manufacturing plant in Russia.

The stock opened at ₹135.75 compared to the previous close of ₹135.49. It touched an intraday low of ₹134.93 and climbed to a high of ₹144.80. As of 3 PM, the trading volume stood at 46,53,471 shares. In the broader range, RCF’s 52-week low is ₹110.80 and its 52-week high is ₹188.89, giving investors context on the stock’s recent volatility and recovery momentum.
