It is likely to directly affect Punjab, Haryana and Delhi as well as plains of Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan. Cold winds will also prevail over Gujarat, Vidarbha and Telangana. After December 8, the temperature in this area is likely to drop significantly. Many states may witness a cold wave, while some districts of Rajasthan are likely to experience frost in the morning.
Cold wave warning
The Meteorological Department has said that cold wave will continue over Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh and Delhi, Northwest Jharkhand and parts of North Interior Odisha on December 6 and 7 and Uttar Pradesh and East Rajasthan on December 6. The Meteorological Department has advised people to stay safe from the cold. “Take extra care of yourself and those around you. Temperatures across the country
