The government is angry at Indigo after making thousands of passengers cry, now it will be punished, the minister ordered a high level investigation

News India Live, Digital Desk: If you have been turning on the TV or watching social media for the last few days, you must have seen pictures of the chaos at airports. Be it Patna, Jaipur or Delhi, the story is the same everywhere. IndiGo, which was considered the most reliable airline of the country, has today become a headache for thousands of passengers. Hundreds of flights are being cancelled, passengers are sitting hungry and thirsty at the airport and there is no one to respond. But friends, now the dam of patience has broken and the central government has intervened in this matter. Seeing the tears and anger of the passengers, the Ministry of Civil Aviation has come into ‘full action mode’. Come, let us understand in simple language how the government has imposed Indigo class and what will happen next. The Minister has given ‘strict orders’ After seeing the pictures of the commotion coming from airports across the country, the Union Civil Aviation Minister has taken it very seriously. He has said in clear words that such arbitrariness of the airlines will not be tolerated. The Ministry has ordered a high-level investigation with immediate effect. The government says that harassing passengers is against the rules. If Indigo was not able to provide its services, then why did it book the tickets? What will be found out in the investigation? The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) will now investigate this entire matter. The real reason for the cancellation: Indigo is saying ‘operational problem’, but the government wants to know how so many planes suddenly broke down? Was there a lack of maintenance or a shortage of pilots? Condition of passengers: Were the passengers of canceled flights given refunds? Did they get hotel and food? (According to the rules, this is the responsibility of the airline). Black marketing of tickets: Were the tickets canceled and later sold at higher prices? This will also be investigated. ‘Warning’ given to IndiGo. According to sources, the Ministry has given an ‘ultimatum’ to the airline management. They have been asked to: Normalize operations as soon as possible. Provide immediate refund or another flight to passengers who have missed their flights. Provide a plan to deal with such situations in future. Relief for common passengers. This step of the government has given some courage to the common passengers. Till now the airline staff was acting as per their wish, but when the power is taken from the top, the system is bound to improve. It is expected that after this investigation, not only will the refund be given easily, but other airlines will also learn a lesson that the customer is God, troubling him can prove costly.
