BJP connection of MLA Humayun Kabir, who laid the foundation stone of Babri Masjid in Bengal, revealed

The bugle for next year’s assembly elections has been sounded in West Bengal. The election excitement has become so intense that new twists are emerging every day. Today is the 33rd anniversary of the demolition of Babri Masjid and on this occasion, suspended TMC MLA Humayun Kabir laid the foundation stone of Babri Masjid at Beldanga in Murshidabad district. It was from here that the politics of the state caught fire. BJP directly accused CM Mamata Banerjee of polarisation. But the real shocking thing is that now Kabir’s BJP connection has also come to the fore.

What is the BJP connection of MLA Humayun Kabir?

Humayun Kabir is a master of party-change. In his political journey, he has visited many parties and BJP is also involved in it. In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, BJP had given him the ticket from Murshidabad seat. But luck was not on his side and Kabir had to face defeat. He got only 2,47,809 votes, while TMC’s Abu Taher Khan won.

Humayun Kabir started his career with Congress. He was considered a close confidant of veteran Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary. But in 2012, he said goodbye to Congress and joined TMC. As soon as he joined TMC, he was made a minister. But in 2015, he made the mistake of raising questions on Mamata Banerjee and the party suspended him for 6 years. After this he joined SP.

He could not last long in SP and returned to Congress again. But there was no stability even in Congress. He joined BJP in 2018. BJP expressed confidence and gave ticket in 2019 Lok Sabha elections. Then in 2020 once again he took refuge in TMC.
