Even after Bavuma’s dismissal, the South African innings did not stop. Matthew Britzke and De Kock maintained the run pace by adding 54 runs for the third wicket. But at this very juncture, Indian fast bowler Prasidh Krishna changed the course of the match with his deadly balls. In the same over, he first dismissed Britzke LBW for 24 runs and then dismissed Aiden Markram for only 1 run on the last ball of the over. This double strike broke the back of the African innings.
