Virat Kohli said while taking player of the series, I feel free now

While talking, Virat Kohli told and said that,

“To be honest, the way I have played in this series has been the most satisfying for me. I don’t think I have played at this level for more than 2-3 years and I feel very free inside. The whole game is settling in well now. Maintaining the standards I set and playing at a level where I can make an impact on the team. And I know when I can bat like that in the middle order, it will help the team.” It helps a lot because I can bat for a long time, depending on the situation, and just with the confidence I feel I have the required ability to deal with any situation in the middle order and bring it in favor of the team.”

Virat Kohli said that his confidence had fallen, he had lost faith in cricket.

While talking, Kohli remembered the bad times and said that,

“When you play for so long, 15-16 years, obviously you have periods when you doubt your ability. Especially as a batsman, because you are really dependent on one mistake. So, you often get to a point where you think maybe I am not good enough, and the nervousness takes over.”

Kohli finally expressed his pain and said,

“I can absolutely guarantee that being a batsman and knowing so much about myself, the kind of negative thinking that I have, where I go through periods where I don’t have confidence or when I’m feeling down on myself, what are those little things. It makes you better as a person and over the years your nature becomes much better and more balanced. So, yes, there have been periods in my life when I have doubted myself and I There’s no shame in admitting it, so I think it’s a very human part of anyone’s journey in such a long journey but I’m happy to still be able to contribute to the team.”
