Updated 440 cc Engine
First, let’s talk about the engine. The X440 T features the same 440cc air and oil-cooled engine that riders have already come to appreciate. However, interestingly, Harley-Davidson and Hero MotoCorp have incorporated several important functional changes this time around.
The new ride-by-wire system makes the bike’s throttle response even smoother, taking the riding experience to a whole new level. Additionally, it now includes switchable traction control and switchable rear ABS, which are considered quite rare features in this segment.
Ride Modes
It’s worth noting that thanks to the electronic throttle body, the X440 T now features two new ride modes: Road and Rain. The Road mode is perfect for everyday city and highway riding, while the Rain mode provides greater control and confident riding in wet conditions. This change is a game-changer for riders who prefer to ride their bikes without worry in all weather conditions.
Redesigned Rear Sub-Frame and Panic Braking Alert
Harley-Davidson has given the bike a new rear sub-frame to further improve pillion comfort. The tail section has a fresh look, and the updated grab rails now offer a more comfortable feel. But the most significant innovation is the Panic Braking Alert, which causes the indicators to flash rapidly during sudden braking, immediately alerting following vehicles. This feature truly sets a new standard in terms of safety.
Price
Harley-Davidson has reduced the prices of the standard X440 models by approximately ₹25,000 to make the series more accessible. The X440 T is priced at ₹2,79,500, the X440 S at ₹2,54,900, and the All prices are ex-showroom.

Bookings for the new range will begin on December 7, 2025, at Harley-Davidson and Hero Premia dealerships, as well as through online channels. The company states that the X440 series features a total of 72 new changes, including improved wiring packaging, a restyled fuel tank, updated switchgear, and a new exhaust system.
