Tremendous investment is going to happen in Bihar, big roadmap released from mega food park to tech hub
Bihar News: Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Saturday presented a detailed and ambitious vision of Bihar’s industrial future through social media. He says that the coming five years will be the period of the biggest industrial mission for the state, in which large-scale employment generation, development of modern industries and creation of world-class infrastructure will be the main goals.
Outline of huge investment plan ready
CM said that to bring Bihar on the path of rapid economic development, the government has outlined a huge investment plan of Rs 50 lakh crore. This investment will not be limited to industries only, but extensive work will also be done on exports, skill development, mega food parks, tech parks and expansion of MSME sector. The government believes that this historic investment will bring a big change in the employment and industrial environment of the state.
Steps are being taken towards making the most attractive state
Steps are also being taken towards making Bihar the most attractive state for investors. Under this, the Industry Department will organize investor conferences on a large scale in major business cities of the country and abroad, so that global companies can be motivated to see Bihar as a new manufacturing hub.
Many new schemes announced
The government has also announced several new schemes, which include five modern mega food parks, ten new industrial parks and hundred new MSME parks. Besides, a plan has also been prepared to provide industrial training to seven lakh youth. With the plan to open MSME centers in every district, local entrepreneurs will get all the facilities at one place, which will also strengthen the rural economy.
44,073 youth started their own industries
So far, 44,073 youth have started their own industries under the Chief Minister Udyami Yojana, which has increased business and employment opportunities even in small towns. Nitish Kumar said that the industrial structure of Bihar has changed rapidly in the last two decades. There has been significant growth in industrial units, parks, MSME units and exports.
The government aims to make Bihar the leading industrial hub of Eastern India in the next few years in the fields of food processing, logistics, tech manufacturing, startups and MSME, so that the youth do not have to go out for jobs.
