Babasaheb Ambedkar Mahaparinirvan Diwas: On the occasion of Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar’s death anniversary (Mahaparinirvan Diwas), CM Yogi Adityanath made many big announcements for the betterment of the poor, Dalits and weaker sections of the society. After paying floral tributes to Baba Saheb in the capital Lucknow, in the tribute meeting organized on this occasion, CM Yogi said that a decision has been taken to give minimum honorarium to class IV employees, contract employees and sanitation workers. The corporation has also been formed. Within a month or two, it will be ensured that these employees get guaranteed minimum honorarium. Along with this, CM Yogi said that now no mischievous element will be able to tamper with the idols of Baba Saheb. A boundary wall will be built around each statue. Where there is no umbrella over the idol, complete respect and safety of Baba Saheb’s idol will be ensured by installing an umbrella.

CM Yogi said that every Dalit, slum, scheduled caste settlements and tribal settlements of the state will be connected through connectivity schemes. CM Yogi said that although the Rural and Urban Development Department has connected most of the settlements, but if any settlement is still left, it will be connected. Paying homage to Baba Saheb, CM Yogi said that today is an inspiration day for all of us. The hard work that Baba Saheb did to reach the distance from the floor to the sky i.e. from the ground to the heights of the sky, the difficulties he faced are incomparable. He provided a new opportunity to millions of Dalits, backward classes and deprived people to live a respectable life. Today is the day to express gratitude towards him.
In the tribute meeting, CM Yogi said that Baba Saheb had kept these three words justice, equality and fraternity in the preamble of the Constitution of India. Today, such types of campaigns are going on in the country under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Ration to the poor, houses to the underprivileged, toilets in every poor’s house, every poor can get the best health facilities by joining the mainstream of the society, there should be a system to provide you ownership rights of your land through Gharaundhi, all this is under that. CM Yogi said that unfortunately, the parties following the policy of appeasement are not only causing harm to the country but are also insulting the sentiments of Baba Saheb. Many other senior leaders including Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya, Brajesh Pathak, Minister Aseem Arun also expressed their views in the program.
