It is reported that Raj has been granted bail by the Special PMLA Court of Mumbai in the Rs 150 crore scam case. Raj had been making rounds of the court regarding this matter for a long time, now he has finally got relief. Let us know, what is this whole matter.

What is the whole matter?

This whole matter is related to Bitcoin scam of Rs 150 crore. In fact, in the year 2018, an FIR was registered against Raj in Nigdi and Nanded police stations of Pune, in which Amit Bhardwaj, promoter of ‘Variable Tech Private Limited’ and ‘GanBitcoin’, had defrauded investors of crores of rupees by promising them huge returns in the name of Bitcoin mining. Raj Kundra’s name also came up in this case. ED had alleged that Raj had received 285 bitcoins from Amit Bhardwaj, whose value was estimated to be around Rs 150.47 crore.

What did Raj Kundra say?

Raj Kundra looked very happy outside the court. He told the media- ‘I had not done anything. It is Waheguru’s blessings, everything is fine. At the same time, when the question was raised about challenging the case in the High Court, Raj said that there was no need for it. At the same time, let us tell you that Raj has been granted bail that he will have to give a surety of Rs 1 lakh and he will be able to go abroad only after taking permission from the court.
