Son shoots father dead in land dispute, case registered and proceedings started
Nalanda. On Wednesday, in Tufanganj village of Bigha OP police station area of Nalanda district, the son shot his father dead due to a land dispute. The deceased has been identified as 55-year-old Bachchu Paswan of Dharam Paswan, resident of Tufanganj village.
Information about the incident was given to Bhaganvigha police station. Police reached the spot, took stock of the situation and sent the body to Biharsharif Sadar Hospital for post-mortem.
Regarding the incident, the deceased’s wife Gulabi Devi told that Bachchu Paswan had married twice where he had one child from the first wife and two children from the second wife. The step son often used to quarrel over the distribution of property.
The property was distributed to him and yet he was demanding money. When he did not give it, he called him from home and shot him dead. A case has been registered in this regard. The police has started investigating every case.
