Central Regional Council meeting begins under the chairmanship of Union Home Minister, Chief Ministers of four states participate
Jagdalpur. The 26th high level meeting of the Central Regional Council has started in Jagdalpur today under the chairmanship of Union Home Minister Amit Shah. This includes the Chief Ministers of four states including Chhattisgarh.
This important meeting, being held for the first time in Bastar, is being considered very important in terms of security, development and coordination between the states. Administration and security agencies are on full alert mode regarding the program. Security arrangements have been further strengthened in Jagdalpur city.
Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai cordially welcomed Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mehan Yadav and Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami to attend the meeting.
Meanwhile, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yagi Adityanath has reached Jagdalpur on Tuesday morning. After the arrival of the Chief Minister and senior officials, special monitoring is being done by the security agencies from the airport to the meeting venue.
Many important topics will be discussed in detail in this meeting. These include inter-state coordination, internal security arrangements, development of Naxal affected areas, education and health services, nutrition schemes, power and urban development, cooperation and administrative cooperation.
It is being told that a common strategy can be prepared for better coordination between the states and to speed up development projects. This meeting is being considered very important from political and administrative point of view.
After the council meeting, development projects in the central region states including Bastar may get new momentum. Along with this, there is also a possibility of preparing a big roadmap for strengthening the security system and coordinated action in Naxal affected areas.
Bastar, which was once in the news due to Naxalite incidents, is now seen moving rapidly in the direction of development and peace. Organizing this big national level meeting is being considered a sign of the changing identity of Bastar.
Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai said that organizing such a high-level meeting in Bastar is a matter of pride for the entire region. He said that now Bastar is becoming a new identity of peace, trust and development.
