In the match played on Friday, Sunrisers Hyderabad defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore by 55 runs. After this result, the position of the top two places in the points table became clear. The first playoff match of IPL 2026 i.e. Qualifier-1 will be played on Tuesday, 26 May 2026.

Where will the competition take place?

The Qualifier-1 match between RCB and Gujarat Titans will be played at Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium. This stadium of Dharamshala is known for its beautiful location and favorable conditions for fast bowlers. Why is Qualifier-1 so important?

According to the IPL playoff format, the teams finishing first and second in the points table play Qualifier-1.
