Tata Tiago Facelift Launching Soon – Aggressive Design And High-Tech Cabin Revealed – Breaking News & Live Updates Today

To challenge the reign of the Maruti Swift and Hyundai Grand i10 Nios in the Indian budget-friendly car market, domestic automobile manufacturer Tata Motors is set to play a major masterstroke.

The company is all set to officially launch the new avatar of its safest and most popular hatchback, the Tata Tiago Facelift 2026, on May 28, 2026. After recently revealing its aggressive exterior design, Tata has now unveiled the vehicle’s completely redesigned interior and cabin features.

Tata Tiago Facelift Interior

The most significant and revolutionary change compared to the old Tiago is the cabin of this new facelift model. Tata Motors has completely ditched its old budget-friendly layout and replaced it with a stunning layered dashboard design inspired by modern vehicles like the Punch and Altroz.

The biggest USP of this new high-tech cabin is its two impressive free-floating digital display screens. For entertainment, you’ll find a large 10.25-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system in the center of the dashboard that supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, both wirelessly and seamlessly.

Furthermore, the old, simple LCD console just behind the steering wheel has been replaced by an all-new free-standing digital driver display (Digital Instrument Cluster), which displays real-time live information on vehicle speed, mileage, and important warnings in crisp graphics.

Premium Cabin & Comfort

Tata Motors has completely re-engineered the center console of this car to make its cabin even more premium and upmarket. You’ll now find a floating center console with a shiny gloss-black finish, featuring segment-first dual wireless charging pads for charging two smartphones simultaneously, and two fast USB Type-C ports. However, the inclusion of this remarkable feature has resulted in a reduction of the small open storage space found in the previous model.

Other premium changes made inside the cabin to make long journeys comfortable and fatigue-free are as follows. Inside, you’ll now find beautiful dual-tone fabric upholstery in black and grey, giving the cabin a very airy, bright look.

Additionally, it features redesigned door pads and a new front center armrest for front passengers. For the convenience of rear passengers, the company has added rear AC vents and dedicated charging ports to the cabin, ensuring complete comfort even in the scorching heat.

It’s worth noting, however, that this hatchback still lacks a rear center armrest and adjustable headrests. The AC vents on the dashboard have also been completely reshaped, and a new floating panel has been installed for climate control. The HVAC physical control buttons below it and the company’s signature two-spoke steering wheel have been retained.

Exterior Design

On the exterior, the Tiago facelift sheds its old look and features a more modern and sporty stance. To give its front profile an aggressive look, it features a completely redesigned front bumper, pixel-style fog lamp housings, and ultra-thin, strong LED headlights. The side profile features new 18-inch sporty dual-tone alloy wheels, a shark-fin antenna, wheel arch cladding, and blacked-out ORVMs, along with a black roof treatment, to give the car a youthful and energetic look.

The rear facelift is significant and striking. The rear profile now features new taillights with vertical LED detailing, connected by a wide, shiny gloss-black strip. Although this light bar itself doesn’t glow, it does provide a significant visual width to the car from the rear.

Expected Price & Safety

Tata Motors has always been a trusted pillar of safety for Indian families. The Tiago facelift is designed to continue its tradition of achieving a strong 5-star safety rating in the Bharat NCAP. According to reports, the company may offer six airbags as standard this time around.

Additionally, a high-definition 360-degree surround-view camera system has been added for easy maneuvering in tight parking spaces, a first for cars in this price range. Furthermore, robust features like ABS with EBD, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), ISOFIX child seat mounts, and Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) ensure a safe journey for every vehicle.

Price

Regarding pricing, the addition of so many modern and premium features may result in a slight increase in the price of the new Tata Tiago facelift compared to the current model. Currently, the Tiago’s ex-showroom price ranges from ₹4.60 lakh to ₹7.92 lakh. Auto experts believe that Tata Motors could position this new model within the highly competitive price range of ₹5 lakh to ₹8.50 lakh, making it the most dangerous and value-for-money option compared to its main rivals.
