Jaipur, 24 May. Rajasthan is currently in the grip of scorching heat and severe heatwave. The Meteorological Department has issued orange and yellow alerts of heat wave in 18 districts of the state. On Saturday, thunderstorms and light rain were recorded in many areas including the capital Jaipur, but this did not cause any drop in temperature and the humidity further troubled the people. The mercury continues to rise in the districts of western Rajasthan, where Jaisalmer was the hottest area in the state with a temperature of 45.9 degrees Celsius in the last 24 hours.
Nautapa is starting from Monday. This time a very rare coincidence is taking place from the astrological point of view. This is happening after 46 years when Nautapa is starting on the day of Ganga Dussehra. According to astrologers, before this such unique coincidence had happened in the year 1980. This time, two Tuesdays are falling during Nautapa and ‘Trigrahi Yoga’ is being formed due to the conjunction of many planets. Due to its effect, there will be intense heat and thunderstorms, but there are also signs of disruption of the Nautapa due to drizzle at some places.
Jaisalmer, Phalodi and Barmer: The most lethal effects of heatwave are being seen in these areas. The mercury has reached close to 46 degrees (45.9°C) in Jaisalmer.
Jaipur: After strong sunlight and heat till noon, the weather changed at 2 o’clock. There was a dusty storm and light drizzle. The maximum temperature was recorded at 42.6 degrees.
quota: The temperature here has reached 43.8 degrees Celsius. The effect of heat is also visible on wildlife; Coolers and ducting systems have been installed for the animals in Abheda Biological Park.
Alwar and Sikar: It rained for 15 minutes in Alwar on Saturday, but the humidity increased. The temperature here is expected to reach 46 degrees in the next two days. There was humidity in Sikar throughout the day amid the movement of clouds.
Udaipur and Ajmer: The mercury has reached 41.9 degrees in Lake City Udaipur, where cold water and buttermilk are being arranged for the common people by social organizations. People in Ajmer are also suffering from humidity and 41.6 degree temperature.
Increasing UV Index: According to weather experts, there will be more sunshine in the coming days. The ultraviolet radiation index (UV Index) will be very high from 10 am to 5 pm. During this period, exposure to direct sunlight may cause severe irritation or sunburn to the eyes and skin.
Acidity and indigestion problem: In many parts of the country, the digestive system of people is being affected due to the temperature crossing 45°C. Doctors have advised to make changes in diet and lifestyle in this season and avoid acidity with the help of home remedies.
