Before Bakrid, Maulana Madani stressed on law and cleanliness in sacrifice!

Before Bakrid (Eid-ul-Azha), the controversy over animal sacrifice has intensified in many parts of the country. Meanwhile, Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind President Maulana Mahmood Madani has said that sacrifice is an important worship of Islam. Therefore, every Muslim should make every effort to sacrifice his share.

Maulana Mahmood Madani has given some suggestions regarding Eid. A statement issued by Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind said, “Sacrifice is an important worship of Islam, which is obligatory on every Sahibi status Muslim. There is no alternative to it in the days of sacrifice. Therefore, every Sahiba status Muslim should make every possible effort to sacrifice his share.”

Maulana has appealed that all the people making sacrifice should completely follow the guidelines issued by the government and the rules of the local administration. Sacrifice of animals prohibited by law should be completely avoided.

He said, “Special care should be taken about cleanliness. The remains of animals should not be thrown in the roads, streets or drains, rather they should be kept safe in plastic bags etc. and arrangements should be made to take them to designated places.

In this regard, full cooperation should be given to the municipality and sanitation workers. At the same time, every effort should be made to ensure that our work does not cause any kind of pain, inconvenience or discomfort to others.”

Maulana Mahmood Madani has said in his statement, “All legal rules and administrative procedures should be completely followed during the purchase and transportation of animals. Also, sharing of pictures and videos of sacrifice on social media should be completely avoided.”

If any kind of instigation, threat or harassment is faced by communal elements at any place, then one should act with patience, restraint and understanding and an immediate complaint should be lodged with the concerned police station or administration. The law should not be taken into one’s hands under any circumstances.”

Along with this, an appeal has been made to the Muslims that if any kind of obstruction or difficulty is arising in the sacrifice at any place, then they should immediately contact Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind or its local units.
