In this connection, recently Ram Charan reached Bhopal, where the grand music launch event of the film was organized. Amidst the presence of thousands of fans in the program, Ran Charan made a spectacular entry on the stage, but during this time he made a mistake which created a stir on social media.

Ram Charan made this mistake

Actually, during the event, Ram Charan mistakenly called Indian cricket team’s star fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah a footballer. This mistake of the actor was captured on camera and within a few minutes the video went viral on the internet. However, as soon as he realized his mistake, Ram Charan apologized to Bumrah on social media late at night.

There was an error in the rapid fire round.

The anchor played a fun rapid fire round with Ram Charan during the music launch event. Because Ram Charan is playing the role of a cricketer in the film ‘Peddi’, he was asked many questions related to cricket. The anchor took the names of some big players of Indian cricket and asked Ram Charan to respond in one line about them.

When Sachin Tendulkar’s name came up, Ram Charan said that his career has been very long and inspiring. For Mahendra Singh Dhoni, he said that his biggest strength is his calm nature. The actor described Rohit Sharma as “everyone’s favourite”, while on hearing the name of Virat Kohli, he said, “He is absolutely fire.” But as soon as Jasprit Bumrah’s name came up, Ram Charan looked a little confused and said, “Jasprit Bumrah ji, I am a big fan of yours. I love football very much and you are taking football forward so much… Love you sir.” What happened then, this video quickly went viral on social media. Fans started giving funny memes and reactions on this mistake of the actor.

Apologized as soon as he realized his mistake

After the video went viral, Ram Charan immediately accepted his mistake. Late night, he shared a post tagging Jasprit Bumrah on social media platform

He further wrote, “I really respect you a lot and am a big fan of your game. When you continuously put the batsmen on the backfoot, every Indian’s chest swells with pride.” This humility of Ram Charan is being praised a lot on social media. Many users say that anyone can make a mistake, but accepting it is a big thing.

There is a huge buzz about ‘Peddi’

If we talk about the film ‘Peddi’, it has been directed by Buchi Babu Sana. Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor will be seen with Ram Charan in the film. There is already a lot of excitement among the fans regarding their pairing. Kannada superstar Shiva Rajkumar, actors Jagapathi Babu and Divyendu will also be seen in important roles in the film. It is being told that the backdrop of the film is based on sports and emotional drama, in which Ram Charan will be seen in the role of a strong cricketer.

According to the makers, ‘Peddi’ will be released in theaters on June 4, 2026. There is tremendous curiosity among the audience about the film and its music launch event is also continuously discussed on social media.
