Another Move By Suvendu Adhikari Against Infiltrators: Bangladeshi and Rohingya infiltrators in West Bengal will be caught and kept in detention centers, Suvendu Adhikari government’s order to the administration of all the districts.

Kolkata. Subhendu Adhikari government of West Bengal has issued another major order regarding infiltrators. The Home Department of West Bengal has directed the administration of all the districts of the state to create detention centers (holding centers) for the infiltrators caught in accordance with the guidelines of the Union Home Ministry. The infiltrators will be kept in these holding centers before being deported. Illegal Bangladeshis and Rohingyas have been specifically mentioned in the order. Let us tell you that before this, infiltrators were kept in detention centers only in Assam. UP CM Yogi Adityanath had also ordered the administration of all the districts to arrest the infiltrators and keep them in detention centers.

Earlier, after assuming the post of CM of West Bengal, Subhendu Adhikari had ordered the DGP to ask the police of every district to catch the infiltrators. Shubhendu Adhikari had clearly said in the order that infiltrators caught in West Bengal should be handed over to BSF instead of being produced in the court. So that they can be deported. Now Subhendu Adhikari government has ordered to build detention centers in every district of West Bengal. From which it is clear that now illegal Bangladeshi citizens and Rohingyas will be arrested rapidly in West Bengal. During the West Bengal Assembly elections, BJP had promised the people of the state that if voted to power, it would expel every Bangladeshi and Rohingya infiltrator from the state.

BJP has been alleging for many years that Mamata Banerjee’s TMC government settled Bangladeshi and Rohingya infiltrators by giving them Aadhaar, ration cards and PAN cards and made them vote banks. According to BJP, demographic changes have also taken place in the border districts of Bangladesh due to infiltrators. However, TMC always denied this allegation of BJP. Even when names of lakhs of people were deleted during SIR in West Bengal, BJP said that all of them are infiltrators. Now if a large number of infiltrators are caught in West Bengal, then BJP’s claim will prove to be true. However, the order of the Shubhendu Adhikari government to build a detention center for infiltrators is also likely to heat up politics afresh.
