Speaking about the documentary, Manjari described its making as a “cathartic process of filmmaking”. She says that through the film, she, as a daughter, is attempting to piece together “memories, absences, and emotion” that shaped her and her sister. Calling her father someone more than Sambha, as popularly known to the world, she says she is still making a discovery of her father through people who knew him before her.
Mac Mohan, in an illustrious career spanning over five decades, has worked on over 280 films. His notable projects are Don, Karz, Zanjeer, Shaan, Khoon Pasina, Khuddar, and Satta Pe Satta.
