Kyiv Air Strike: Russia’s air strike in Kiev, 1 killed in attack on residential areas, Canada condemned
Deadly Kiev Air Strike By Russia: The ongoing destructive war between Russia and Ukraine has now reached a new and extremely dangerous turn. The Russian Army has launched a massive missile and drone attack targeting Ukraine’s capital Kiev as its main target. Many residential areas and schools of Kiev have suffered huge damage in this deadly air strike. Due to the attack, debris of buildings has been scattered everywhere and there is an atmosphere of terrible panic in the entire city.
So far, at least one person has been reported to have died tragically in this horrific and sudden attack. According to the Mayor of Kiev, relief and rescue operations are going on at full speed to rescue people trapped under the debris. At around 1 am on the intervening night of Saturday-Sunday, the entire city of Kiev was shaken by the sound of loud explosions. The Ukrainian Air Force had issued a warning on Telegram channel just before the attack, which saved some lives.
Devastation by Russian missiles in Lukyanivka area
In this dangerous attack, Lukyanivka area of Kiev has been most affected and there has been huge devastation there. Due to the falling of missiles, a massive fire broke out in the entire area, efforts to extinguish it are ongoing. This horrifying scene of bright light and destruction of missiles in the sky has been completely captured in many cameras.
The Ukrainian Air Force has expressed fear that Russia may use its extremely dangerous ‘Oreshnik’ in this attack. Can use ballistic missiles. However, the army has not yet officially confirmed whether the Oreshnik missile was fired or not. Earlier in 2024, for the first time, a deadly attack was made on the city of Dnipro with this dangerous missile whose warhead causes devastation.

Ukraine’s air defense system on alert
Considering the seriousness of the attack, Ukraine has now put all its air defense systems on high alert. Rescue teams are continuously engaged in removing the debris and providing necessary medical aid to the injured people. All the citizens of the capital Kiev have been completely forced to save their lives by hiding in safe places and bunkers.
Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney has strongly condemned this Russian attack at the international level. He said that dropping missiles on civilian targets and schools is absolutely wrong and this aggression should be stopped immediately. Carney makes a very strong demand on Russia to end this illegal war once and for all and restore peace.
