Movie lovers and cinegoers will witness a storm as Hollywood is going to witness its most crowded year in 2027.
Many sequels from popular franchises are going to be released including Batman 2, Superman 2, Ice age 6, Frozen 3, A Quiet place 3 and many more.

Ice Age: Boiling Point – February 5
The popular animated franchise is returning after four years with a sequel. The animal squad including mammoth Manny, Elie, Sloth Sid, Tiger Diego are all set to reunite to deal with a volcanic disaster this time.
Ice Age: Boiling Point is directed by John C. Donkin.
The Exorcist – March 12
Directed by Mike Flanagan, the Exorcist sequel featuring Scarlett Johnasson is among the big 2027 releases of Hollywood.
The horror supernatural will also feature Linda Blair, Sasha Calle, Kate Siegel, Laurence Fishburne and Ellen Burstyn.
Sonic the Hedgehog 4 – March 19
2027 will reunite the SEGA characters back in the fourth sequel of Sonic the Hedgehog. Sonic, Shadow, Knuckles, Tails will be gathering with a new entry Amy Rose, voiced by Kristen Bell.
However, Jim Carrey, Ben Schwartz, James Marsden and Keanu Reeves are all set to lend their vocals for the new sequel.
Man of Tomorrow – July 9
David Corenswet is all set to reprise the role of Superman in the sequel of the 2025 sequel, directed by James Gunn.
Titled as Man of Tomorrowthe upcoming action adventure will bring back Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor.
The film will also feature Adria Arjona, Rachel Brosnahan, Lars Eidinger, and Isabela Merced.
The Batman Part II – October 1
Robert Pattinson’s Batman II is in development with Matt Reeves returning as director.
The upcoming DC movie will bring back Colin Farrell as Penguin, Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth, Jeffery Wright as James Gordon.
Meanwhile, Marvel star Sebastian Stan is all set to make a fan following in the DCU with his depiction of Harvey Dent aka Two Face.
Avengers: Secret Wars – December 17
The Russo Brothers have already teased a new Avengers movie prior to the release of Doomsday.
Avengers: Secret Wars will continue from where Doomsday would leave the plot in 2026.
It is going to feature Robert Downey Jr, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Pedro Pascal, Iman Vellani and Sadie Sink.
