Ballast laden trailer collides with the moving container and bike, condition of bike rider brother and sister critical

Mirzapur: Near Barka Mod Ghuman of Drummondganj Valley, around 10 am on Monday, an uncontrolled trailer going towards Mirzapur laden with ballast hit the moving container from behind and hit a bike-riding brother and sister going towards Madhya Pradesh at Barka Mod Ghuman. The brother and sister riding the bike were seriously injured in the incident.
On receiving the information, Drummondganj police station incharge Bharat Suman SI Puneet Gupta and Subhash Yadav sent them to Lalganj CHC for treatment in NHAI ambulance. Seeing the serious condition of the brother and sister riding the bike, the doctor referred them to the Divisional Hospital. As soon as the speedy uncontrolled trailer, loaded with ballast, was descending down the Drummondganj valley, it was loaded with pickles and chutney and hit the moving container from behind. The container loaded with pickles went out of control and moved ahead.
Hit the moving truck from behind and crashed into the divider. In the accident, 32-year-old container driver Qasim, resident of Barwa district Shamli, suffered injuries on his hand and got them treated by the police at New PHC Drummondganj. The driver of the ballast laden trailer hit the brother and sister riding a bike at Barka turn and ran away with the trailer. In the accident, 35-year-old bike driver Maniraj Goswami, resident of Murtiha police station, Bahri district, Sidhi Madhya Pradesh, and his sister, 32-year-old Neeta Goswami, who was sitting behind on the bike, were seriously injured after being hit by the trailer.
On receiving the information, the police sent the injured brother and sister by ambulance to CHC Lalganj for treatment, where seeing the serious condition of both of them, the doctor referred them to the divisional hospital after first aid. The brother and sister riding the bike were returning home from their relatives in Devghat village of Koraon police station area of Prayagraj district. The driver of the container laden with pickles told that the trailer laden with ballast hit him from behind, after which it ran away hitting the bike at Badka Mod Ghuman. It was a good coincidence that the container hit the divider.
Otherwise, a major accident could have occurred if the container overturned hundreds of feet below in the valley. Police Station Head Bharat Suman said that the bike driver and his sister, who were seriously injured after being hit by a trailer laden with ballast at Badka Mod Ghuman in Drummondganj Valley, have been sent to the hospital for treatment. The incident is being investigated.
