Sun PhuQuoc Airways expands sales network in Russia, China, Malaysia
The airline announced the moves on June 8, saying it has appointed General Sales Agents (GSAs) in the three markets to support ticket distribution, market development, and destination promotion activities.
In Russia, the airline selected Avia Turizm, a member of Anex Tourism Group, which operates across Europe, the Middle East, Russia, and the Commonwealth of Independent States.
In Malaysia, it partners with Wifadah Travel & Tours, an aviation services company with more than two decades of experience in the Asia-Pacific region.

According to the airline, the partners will support sales activities, agency network development, and engagement with the travel trade in their respective markets.
Russia and China have traditionally been among Phu Quoc’s largest international visitor markets, while Malaysia serves as an important gateway to Southeast Asian travelers and the growing Muslim tourism segment. Expanding the airline’s distribution network in these markets is expected to strengthen air connectivity, support tourism growth and further enhance Phu Quoc’s visibility on the regional tourism map.
To date, Sun PhuQuoc Airways has established a network of General Sales Agents (GSAs) across several strategic markets, including Taiwan, South Korea, Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand and India. As part of its ongoing “Rise to the World” strategy, the airline said it will continue expanding its global commercial footprint through partnerships with prospective representatives and distribution partners in Australia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Oman, the Czech Republic, Mongolia and Japan.

Alongside its international expansion, Sun PhuQuoc Airways also signed a cooperation agreement with Viet Media Travel Joint Stock Company, a Vietnamese travel operator.
The partnership will focus on developing integrated travel products, expanding sales channels, and supporting passenger growth across the airline’s network.
The carrier also announced three new domestic routes.

Beginning July 20, it will operate three daily flights between Hanoi and Nha Trang. From July 25, daily services will be introduced on the Ho Chi Minh City – Hai Phong and Hai Phong – Phu Quoc routes.
The airline said stronger air links are expected to support tourism, trade, and travel demand while contributing to Phu Quoc’s development as a regional tourism hub.
