Patna. Famous teacher and director of Khan Global Studies, Faizal Khan has got a big relief from Patna Civil Court in the firing case. The court, while hearing his anticipatory bail plea, has currently put a stay on his arrest. The fear of immediate arrest has been averted as he got relief till the next hearing in the case.

According to the information, on Monday, an anticipatory bail petition was filed on behalf of Khan sir in the court of Principal District and Sessions Judge, Patna. His advocate Arvind Kumar Muar, appearing before the court, said that Khan sir has been wrongly named in the case and there is no direct allegation against him.

This matter is related to the recent firing incident near Khan Institute of Global Studies. A video of the incident had gone viral on social media, based on which the Kadamkuan police station had registered a case against Khan sir and his two security personnel under various sections of the Indian Civil Security Code (BNSS) and the Arms Act.

Khan sir’s two security personnel, Deepak Kumar and Talebar Singh, are already in judicial custody in the case. The regular bail plea of both of them was also heard in the court. The court has given instructions to present evidence, case diary and other documents related to the case.

During the hearing, Khan sir’s advocate told the court that after the incident, an employee of Khan Global Studies had filed an FIR against the operator of another coaching institute. After this, a second FIR was lodged as a retaliation, in which Khan sir’s name was also included.

The lawyer says that if a security personnel has fired in the air in self-defense, then Khan sir cannot be held directly responsible for it. He also told the court that Khan sir has been included in the case only with the aim of harassing him and damaging his image.

In the same case, the bail plea of Gyan Bindu Academy director Roshan Anand was also heard. After hearing the arguments of both the parties, the court has reserved its order.

At present, Khan sir has got relief due to the stay on arrest by the court. However, the investigation of the case is going on and in the further hearing the court will take a decision on the basis of available evidence and police report. The police are also investigating all aspects of the case.
