Kushinagar: Murder of two real sisters in a family dispute created a stir in the area, investigation continues.
Lucknow. A sensational case of murder of two real sisters has come to light on Tuesday in Pipraghat Ehatmali Devanarayan Tola of Sevarhi police station area of Kushinagar district in Uttar Pradesh. Preliminary police investigation has revealed that both the sisters were beaten to death due to a family dispute. There was panic in the area after the incident.
Bodies of two sisters found in the closet of the house
Police said that the bodies of Lali Nishad (20) and Sheela Nishad (18) were found in the closet of a house on Monday. On receiving the information, police reached the spot and started investigation. Initial inquiry revealed that both the sisters already had a relationship with two youths from the same village.
Three cases were also filed in this case by his father Ramprasad Nishad at different times. In those cases, the police had recovered both the girls, but even after this they remained in contact with the concerned youth.
Family tension increased after mobile snatching
Investigation also revealed that about 15 days ago the father had snatched the mobile phones of the two sisters, which were allegedly given to them by the youth. After this, there was constant tension and dispute in the family.
Police say that during this domestic dispute, the family members got angry and beat the two sisters with sticks, due to which they died. Police have registered a case in the matter on the basis of the complaint.
Suraj and Nitish, brothers of the deceased sisters, are being detained and interrogated. Both the bodies have been sent for postmortem and scientific evidence is also being collected.
All aspects are being investigated, Additional Superintendent of Police
Additional Superintendent of Police Siddharth Verma said on Tuesday that investigation is being done on all aspects of the case. Both the brothers of the deceased sisters have been taken into custody.
The main accused father is being searched. Further legal action will be taken on the basis of postmortem report and other evidence. At present, peace is maintained in the village and police monitoring is going on.
