U-turn of weather in UP: Suddenly the mood changed, Meteorological Department issued orange alert, check the list before leaving the house
The Meteorological Department has issued a very important and big warning for the people living in many areas of Uttar Pradesh. There is a strong possibility of moderate thunderstorm with thunderstorms and light to moderate rain in many districts of the state during the next three hours. India Meteorological Department (IMD) and ‘Sachet App’ have issued an alert regarding this sudden major change in the weather.

Sunil Pandey has shared. He said that a strong weather system has become active in the central and eastern parts of the state, due to which there is thunderstorm, dusty strong winds and rain.
Dangerous orange alert issued for these 10 districts
The major districts of UP for which the Meteorological Department has specifically issued ‘Orange Alert’ include Amethi, Ayodhya, Barabanki, Fatehpur, Gonda, Kaushambi, Pratapgarh, Prayagraj, Rae Bareli and Sultanpur districts. People living in these areas have been asked to take special precautions for the next few hours.
According to meteorologists, very strong winds can blow at a speed of 40 to 60 kilometers per hour in these identified areas. At the same time, with gusts and gusts of wind, its speed can reach up to 70 kilometers per hour at any time. Along with this storm, there are also chances of strong lightning in the sky and light to moderate rain.
Meteorologist’s big advice for farmers and livestock farmers
Meteorologist Dr. S.N. Sunil Pandey said that amid this changing and bad weather, farmers, livestock farmers and laborers working in open areas need to be especially alert. He has advised that when the weather is bad, people should not stand under weak structures like trees, electric poles, mobile towers and tin sheds, because they are at the highest risk of falling during a strong storm.
He has specifically instructed the farmers to take their produce, agricultural equipment and animal fodder harvested or kept in the fields to a safe and covered place as soon as possible. Apart from this, in view of the possibility of lightning, it has also been advised to immediately move away from open fields, ponds-reservoirs and high places.
Fear of damage to crops, administration appeals to stay in homes
Expressing concern, Dr. Pandey said that such high speed winds and sudden rains can cause huge damage to horticultural crops, especially mango orchards. Due to strong storm, mangoes may fall from the trees and branches may break. Therefore, all farmer brothers should take necessary precautions until the weather completely clears and make safety arrangements at their own level.
In view of the worsening situation, the Meteorological Department and the local administration have strongly appealed to the general public to keep an eye on the latest weather updates through TV, radio or mobile. Unless absolutely necessary, avoid leaving your homes unnecessarily. In case of any untoward incident or emergency, completely follow the instructions issued by the local administration and disaster management department.
