David Beckham shows off lush vegetable garden at $16M mansion
On June 6, Beckham shared a series of photos of his garden, where he grows lettuce, sweetcorn, strawberries, and raises chickens. The garden is part of his 40,000-square-meter Cotswold estate valued at around £12 million (US$16 million).
“My sweetcorn is coming along, loving that. And I must admit that lettuce looks rather good. It is all looking very lovely to be fair,” David said while touring the garden.
He also enjoyed some freshly harvested strawberries, revealing that they reminded him of his grandparents.
David Beckham shared a tour of his garden in his 40,000-square-meter Cotswold estate on Instagram on June 6, 2026.
The former football star is famous for his love of gardening and bonded with the U.K.’s King Charles over the hobby. His Majesty even invited David to put the finishing touches to their special “Curious Garden” at the Chelsea Flower Show in April.
His wife Victoria previously shared a video of David pulling up onions and showing off the zucchini and carrots harvested from the garden.
For his 51st birthday this year, David was gifted a flock of chickens by his wife and children.
The former England star also enjoys beekeeping, building his own hives, learning how to care for bees, and harvesting natural honey.
The Beckhams bought the Cotswold country villa in late 2016 for over £6 million. Originally a farm shed, the property was rebuilt into a classic-style villa and further renovated alongside the grounds.
The couple often retreats to their Cotswold country villa for weekends and holidays.

Beckham was England captain from 2000 to 2006. After retiring in 2013 at 38, he continued to make his mark in the U.S. as a co-owner of Inter Miami CF. Under his management, the team signed superstar Lionel Messi and won the MLS championship last season.
Beyond football, Becks also ventured into entertainment, co-founding the content production company Studio 99 in 2019.
Beckham’s name has been synonymous with the global entertainment industry since his marriage to former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham. They share four children, Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz, and Harper.
Considered one of the world’s most powerful families, the Beckhams are always in the spotlight, most recently for the unresolved conflicts with their eldest son Brooklyn and his wife.
According to a list published by The Times on May 15, Beckham became a billionaire, the first among British current and former athletes.
Knighted by King Charles III for his contributions to sport and community work, Becks will receive another honor in the form of a Hollywood Walk of Fame star on June 12.
