Tejashwi Yadav’s big attack on Samrat Chaudhary, said – Chief is not a cheap minister
The controversy that started in Bihar politics regarding security arrangements now seems to be turning into sharp political allegations and counter-allegations. Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav launched a strong attack on Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary, saying he was behaving like a “cheap minister, not a chief minister”. He accused the state government of acting out of political vendetta.
Expressing his displeasure over the changes in security arrangements and government decisions, Tejashwi Yadav said that opposition leaders are being targeted. He claimed that such actions were being taken to divert public attention from real issues. According to him, the government should focus on issues like crime, unemployment, education and health.
Meanwhile, Lalu Prasad Yadav, Misa Bharti and Rajshree Yadav reached their residence from the airport without any security cover. During this time a crowd of supporters and party workers was also seen. Rashtriya Janata Dal leaders presented it as a political message and said that they are people living among the people.
Tejashwi Yadav also mentioned the Muzaffarpur Girls Home case during the conversation. He said that the government should take action against those whose names had surfaced in such serious cases. He said that the law should not be used against political opponents, but against real criminals.
Referring to the Muzaffarpur Girls Home incident, Tejashwi said that even today the public wants full accountability in that case. He alleged that the government shows activeness only in selected matters, while expected action is not taken on many serious issues.
On the other hand, leaders of the ruling coalition say that security and administrative decisions are taken entirely on the basis of rules and assessments of security agencies. He claims that it is not appropriate to give political color to these decisions.
Amidst the upcoming election environment in Bihar, issues like security, law and order and political conflict remain in the news. In such a situation, this statement of Tejashwi Yadav can give rise to a new debate in the politics of the state. Political analysts believe that the rhetoric between the ruling party and the opposition on this issue may further intensify in the coming days.
At present, the controversy that started regarding security arrangements has now taken a completely political color. On one hand, the opposition is accusing the government of political discrimination, while on the other hand, the ruling party is saying that its decisions are in accordance with the rules. This issue may remain the center of discussion in Bihar politics in the coming days also.
