Desk: Ram Charan’s ‘Peddi’ has reached close to Rs 250 crore in just 5 days. Soon the film will enter the Rs 300 crore club. She will also make new records in her name. Actually, the film is doing great business in Telugu since day one. But till now none of the strategies of the makers have worked in North India. The film has made a business of Rs 169.70 crore from the Indian box office. But on the fifth day in Hindi, PEDDI did a business of only Rs 1.40 crore. Now to increase the earnings and make the film a hit in Hindi, the makers have started a special offer. People can watch the film in Hindi version for just Rs 199.
Ram Charan’s ‘Peddi’ has performed tremendously in Telugu. But whenever it comes to Hindi belt, the matter is completely cold. The film did a lot of promotions in North India, that too with the hope of attracting the attention of the Hindi audience. Mumbai was also chosen for the trailer launch, but it did not benefit the film. Now the distributors have come up with a different solution.
The film ‘Peddi’ has had a weak performance in the Hindi belt, due to which the distributor has started a special offer. Recently a report was published on 123 telugu.com. From which it was found that the ticket price of Hindi version on all screens in North India will be Rs 199. However, taking such a decision at the very beginning for a big pan India film is a big deal. It remains to be seen whether this changes the fate of the film in Hindi or not. However, no official poster regarding this has been shared by the makers till now. It remains to be seen whether this decision makes a difference to Tuesday’s box office or not?
In fact, makers have often taken such decisions after seeing the falling earnings. Offers have started for many big films on the very first day. However, no one would have thought that Peddi would get such a low response in Hindi. Earning from Hindi belt means getting the budget in one go. After this film, Ram Charan has to work with Sukumar. The film which was already announced. Well, no matter how much it earns in Hindi, Ram Charan’s film will definitely enter the hit list.
