Cricket and cinema showed tremendous dominance
The choice of the Indian audience can be clearly seen in this time’s top 10 list, in which cricket and cinema completely dominated. While 3 cricketers have made their mark in the top 10 celebrities, 7 film stars have captured it. Talking about female celebrities, Priyanka Chopra topped the women’s category, while after her Deepika Padukone was at 11th place and South actress Rashmika Mandanna was at 17th place. Apart from these, Bollywood actress Kriti Sanon, South’s Lady Superstar Nayanthara and Indian women’s cricket team’s star batsman Smriti Mandhana also managed to be included among the most valuable faces of the country.
Not just earning, strength tested on these 6 parameters
Usually, the brand value of a celebrity is measured by their earnings, social media followers or box office success, but this time Interbrand has used very strict and scientific parameters. To decide the final value of any star, six main aspects like his uniqueness, his coordination with brands, direct connect with fans, his trust among the public, affinity and social responsibility have been deeply examined. This is the reason why by crossing these stringent standards, global star Diljit Dosanjh, filmmaker Karan Johar, former Indian captain Sourav Ganguly and actor Vicky Kaushal were also successful in securing their place in this most valuable list of the country.
