Getting benefits from 30 centers in Bihar
Senior Regional Director of IGNOU, Dr. E. Krishnarao informed that about 30 study centers are operating in 17 districts of Bihar under the Regional Center Patna. These centers are providing quality education not only to urban but also to the students of rural areas.
Course as per new education policy
IGNOU has started many modern and multidisciplinary programs under the new education policy. It includes four-year undergraduate programmes, honors degree courses and various professional courses. Students can choose both traditional and technical courses as per their interest and career goals.
Foreign language and employment oriented courses
The university also offers certificate courses in foreign languages, which include French, German and Korean. Along with this, employment oriented courses like Bachelor of Library and Information Science (BLIS) and Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS) are also available.
Focus on AI, data science and climate change courses
Keeping in mind the modern technology, IGNOU has also started state-of-the-art courses like MSc in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning and MSc in Data Science. These courses will help prepare students for the future job market.
