‘Worst song, annoying, fake chemistry’: Shahid Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Kriti Sanon’s road trip song Vallah from Cocktail 2 fails to impress
All eyes are on Shahid Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna and Kriti Sanon-starrer Cocktail 2. The makers are leaving no stone unturned to promote the film. So far, the teasers of Tum Hi Bandhu 2.0, the trailer, and the preview of Jab Takal have taken over social media. Meanwhile, Mashooqa also grabbed attention after it sparked controversy over alleged plagiarism.
On Tuesday, the makers unveiled Vallah, an original track sung by Bayanni and Harrdy Sandhu. The song features lyrics by Amitabh Bhattacharya, with Punjabi lyrics penned by Rony Ajnali and Gill Machhrai.
The music video showcases Rashmika and Kriti in bold avatars as they embark on a fun-filled road trip with Shahid Kapoor. The trio captures the essence of friendship, love, confusion and carefree adventures, creating unforgettable memories along the way. With its upbeat rhythm and energetic vibe, Vallah aims to be the perfect road-trip anthem for friends.

However, the song failed to impress many netizens, who criticised the makers for delivering what they called yet another underwhelming track, alleging that it lacked both meaning and a memorable vibe.

A user wrote, “All songs by far have been pretty underwhelming I was expecting a banger album from this one..”

Another wrote, “Ppl faking having fun onscreen. The worst kind of acting.”
The third one mentioned, “Yes, its being overdone here. Its annoying.”
The fourth one mentioned, “Ghar ki shadi mein bua mosi maami fufa mausa ko jabardasti reel banane bolo to woh aise hi expression dete hain ..” (“When you force your aunts, uncles, and relatives at a family wedding to make a reel, these are exactly the expressions they give.”)
