Indian team is a contender to win the WTC final
Former Australia cricketer Aaron Finch is part of the Ledges Premier League being played in Qatar. While talking to a news channel, he said, “I do not understand what Hardik is thinking about the Test match. But when you look at Shami, Umesh, Suraj and these guys, they are really very good fast bowlers.”
Aaron Finch further praised the Indian cricket team saying, “Mohammed Siraj is one of the top bowlers in the world at the moment. All of them can swing the ball. They beat England last time in England. So India has a big chance to qualify for the final. He has a lot of bases covered, whether he plays one or two spinners.”
Delhi spoiled Australia’s game
Apart from this, Finch also talked about the recently concluded Border-Gavaskar Trophy. Where he said about the performance of the Australian team, “They should have won 2-1. It was just one hour of madness in Delhi. Amazing batting by Khawaja. But Australia should have batted a little longer and deeper in the game.”
Aaron Finch went on to say, “It would have been easy for him to hang his head after losing the toss in the third Test but the way he bowled in the morning in the first session was brilliant and then taking the lead and taking the game forward was very important.” It was fantastic because well they deserved that Test win. They should have been up 2-1 in the series.”
Let us tell you that this team India has won the fourth consecutive Border-Gavaskar trophy.
