Actress Kangana Ranaut denies speculations of joining politics
New Delhi : Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut on Sunday said she has a keen interest in politics but has no plans to enter it professionally. Ranaut visited the National Gallery of Modern Art on Sunday. The e-auction has started here from September 17, as a part of which more than 1,200 items gifted to Prime Minister Narendra Modi have been displayed.
The actress, who bid to model the upcoming Shri Ram temple in Ayodhya, told reporters that she would continue to focus on her film career. “I have no plans to enter politics. I am busy shooting for my films. I am interested in politics, but only as an artist and I am a successful artist. I started my career at the age of 16 and have reached this stage after many struggles. Kangana (35) said that her politics will be reflected in her work.
Ranaut said, “I don’t have the stamina to start a new career, but I will always make a good film keeping my interest in politics in mind. The actress said she is a patriot and will always encourage those who are “doing good work for the country”. She said, “I am a patriot… I am very busy with my work and will always support those who are doing good for the country, irrespective of party they belong to.
