According to PTI, a decision has been taken to postpone the match to be played at Delhi’s Arun Jaitley Stadium on Wednesday. The Chennai team was to play in the match with Rajasthan here at half past seven in the evening. According to the news, it was said that the Chennai team would postpone this. The team was not confident about playing matches here.
Significantly, the 29th match of the tournament was played between Delhi Capitals and Punjab Kings on 2 May in Delhi. Earlier, due to playing match against Kolkata team, Delhi team was advised to be quarantined. Now the Chennai team has to play the next match in Delhi for which the team is not ready.
On Monday, Kolkata team spinner Varun Chakraborty and all-rounder Sandeep Warrier were found to be Corona positive. After this, the decision was taken to postpone the match on Monday evening. All the teams coming in contact with Kolkata have been asked to take precaution.
