Business News Desk, After SBI, now Punjab National Bank has issued guidelines for depositing Rs 2,000 notes. If you are also going to change 2000 rupee note in PNB or SBI bank branches then you should know some things. Punjab National Bank said that to change 2000 rupee note you have to have Aadhaar card, officially verified No documents and no form filling required. The bank has given its information to all the branches. The PNB official has given this information when fake news was coming about the use of personal information to exchange notes. The bank said that only Rs 2000 notes can be deposited in the bank without any documents.

SBI also gave information
It is getting viral on social media that to change the note of 2000 rupees one has to fill form along with Aadhaar card. On this, SBI issued a guideline saying that people will not need to fill any document like Aadhaar card, PAN card or any form to exchange two thousand rupee notes. You can exchange or deposit notes by visiting any branch.

Old forms of Rs 2,000 note transactions were going viral on social media. In such a situation, a situation of confusion arose among the people. However, after the information of RBI, it was clarified that there is no need to fill any kind of documents and forms. After this SBI and now PNB have given clarification on this.

PAN and Aadhaar card on amount more than 50 thousand
According to RBI, you can deposit 10 notes of 2000 rupees i.e. 20 thousand rupees at a time. On depositing more than this amount, according to the rules, the bank will have to show PAN and Aadhaar card.
