Ajab demanded extortion of 10 lakhs from the SP, threatening to burn the family along with the family for not giving

Hapur. A shocking case has come to light from Hapur. Here a madman has demanded extortion from the police captain. He and his family have been threatened to be burnt to death for not paying extortion money. The picture of Hapur SP with a female sub-inspector is also going viral on Facebook.

Rohit Saxena, an extortionist, called Hapur SP Abhishek Verma’s house on telephone duty on 28 February. While abusing the policeman, casteist words have also been used for the SP. After that the picture with the female sub-inspector has gone viral on Facebook. On the complaint of Anuj Kumar, a head constable posted at the SP’s residence, the Kotwali police registered a case and got involved in the investigation.

According to the FIR registered at Hapur police station, a phone call was received on March 18 at the SP’s telephone duty police office. On receiving the call, a young man told his name as Rohit Saxena. He said to talk to Superintendent of Police Abhishek Verma. After this, the constable asked the reason, then the mad young man said that extortion of Rs 10 lakh is needed from your captain. He said that if he was not given Rs 10 lakh, he would burn your police captain and his family to death.

Regarding this whole episode, SP Hapur Abhishek Verma told that Rohit Saxena is a man of eccentric and criminal mindset. During my posting in Bareilly, I had arrested him and sent him to jail. He has gone to jail from Bareilly, Moradabad and Rampur. In Moradabad, the picture of the female inspector who took action on this has been morphed and viral on Facebook by putting it with me. A case has been registered and a team has been deployed. The accused will be arrested soon.
