What allegations did Akhilesh Yadav make?

Akhilesh Yadav had recently made serious allegations against the temple administration regarding the offerings made at the Ram temple in Ayodhya. He had said that amount worth crores of rupees offered to the temple by the devotees is missing. There is no transparency about where this amount went. This statement of Akhilesh gave rise to a new controversy in political circles.

The very next day after Akhilesh’s statement, Champat Rai came in front of the media and dismissed the SP supremo’s allegations, calling them baseless. He said that all transactions have been done in a transparent manner and audit is being done. However, Champat Rai’s reply was rejected as vague.
