Tomorrow i.e. 30th November is the last day for retired state and central government employees to submit their life certificate by 30th November.

The deadline for submitting the life certificate at the Central Pension Processing Center, which started from October 1, is going to be completed by the end of this month. If for some reason you are not able to submit the life certificate on time, you can submit the life certificate in the next month or even after that. But the pension will stop and will start again only after submitting the life certificate.

Why is life certificate necessary?

More than 1 crore families in the country are taking advantage of this pension. In which the life certificate of the pensioner is very important. It is mandatory for all pensioners between 60 to 80 years to submit this certificate. So that pension benefits can be availed regularly and pension fraud can be prevented.

This way you can get the certificate

The facility of certificate will be provided at home under the India Post Payment Bank (IPPB) service by the Postal Department of the Government of India. For which first you will have to register by calling IPPB toll free number 155299. Then the postman/Gramin Dak Sevak through the postal department will reach the registrant's home address and generate a digital life certificate.

To avail the facility at home, the pension holder will have to provide Aadhaar number and pension details to the postal employee. After completion of the process of making the certificate, the pensioner will receive OTP on his registered mobile number. Later, the pension holder will be able to see his digital life certificate online. Apart from this, the pension holder can also get the certificate by going to the nearest post office.

How to download Hayati certificate?

1. First of all, get a phone which has at least 5MP camera sensor with internet connectivity.

2. Download AdhFaceRD and Life Certificate Face app from Google Play Store.

3. Complete the operator authentication and scan the pension holder's face.

4. Then click the photo from the front camera and submit all the required information.

5. A link will appear on the registered mobile number, by clicking on which the Hayati Certificate can be downloaded.
