US President warns, Iran may attack in 15 days

Washington. America can strike Iran in the next 10 to 15 days. The US President has given big indications regarding action against Iran during an event. According to The Wall Street Journal report, US President Donald Trump is considering a limited military strike on Iran to force it into a nuclear deal.

The Wall Street Journal reported that Trump is considering an initial limited military strike on Iran to force Tehran to meet the US President’s conditions for the nuclear deal.

The purpose of this step will be to put pressure on Iran without waging a large-scale war. People familiar with the matter told the Journal that if the initial strike is approved, some military or government sites would be targeted. If Iran refuses to accept Trump’s demand to end nuclear enrichment, the US government may increase the campaign to attack more places.

Trump could ramp up his attacks, starting with small attacks and then ordering larger ones, until the Iranian government either ends its nuclear work or collapses, one person said, according to the Journal. Trump indicated that the decision is near. “We will make a deal or make a deal one way or another,” he said Thursday. At another event in Washington, he said, ‘Maybe we will make a deal. Probably not.’

He further said that Americans will probably know in the next 10 days. Later he said this time to be maximum 10 to 15 days. White House spokeswoman Anna Kelly told the Journal about possible action, “Only President Trump knows what he can or cannot do.”

Additionally, The Washington Post reported that the government appears ready to launch a protracted military attack on Iran, as the Pentagon increases its military base in the Middle East. Aircraft carrier USS Gerald R. Ford and his warships are approaching this area. US forces stationed there are expected to be fully deployed by mid-March, officials told The Post.

Former US Ambassador to Israel Daniel B. Shapiro said that Israel’s support would give the US great leverage over Iran, but he warned of risks. “A combined US-Israeli attack would certainly hurt them a lot, but that doesn’t mean it’s going to end quickly or cleanly, and they have some ability to impose costs on the other side,” Shapiro said. Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei threatened in response.

He said that his army could sink an American aircraft carrier and hit the American army so hard that it could not get up again. In another message, Khamenei said, ‘Of course, a warship is a dangerous piece of military hardware. But, even more dangerous than that warship is the weapon that can send that warship into the depths of the sea. Amidst all this, diplomatic talks are going on between both the sides.
