‘Shaurya Dal’ became an army and raised the slogan of empowerment from Madhya Pradesh to the rest of the country.

Bhopal. While passing through the streets of villages and cities of Madhya Pradesh, if you see a group of women holding the pallu of a saree or hanging a college bag, then do not mistake them for mere passers-by. This is the ‘Shaurya Dal’ army of Madhya Pradesh – that ‘Guardian’ of the society without uniform, which has today become the loudest voice of women empowerment in the country, which has taken the definition of women empowerment out of papers and made it real on the ground.

Giving information on Tuesday, Public Relations Officer Bindu Sunil said that this caravan, which started from only 6 districts in the year 2013, has today spread to every corner of the state, in view of which the government has taken an important decision to continue it continuously for the next 5 years (2026-27 to 2030-31).

‘Pre-entry ban’ on crime: This ‘brave group’ reaches before the police
According to the Public Relations Officer, the biggest USP of Shaurya Dal is that they do not light candles after the crime is committed, but break the back of the crime even before it is committed. Whether there are rumors of domestic violence in a house, a child marriage hall is being secretly organized in a village, or a suspect is weaving a web of human trafficking – Shaurya Dal’s intelligence network becomes active immediately. These brave women aged between 15 to 45 years solve big cases peacefully with the help of their ‘community persuasion’ weapon before the intervention of police and law.

‘Silent Army’ of more than 22 lakhs, where teenager and housewife are together
He said that this is perhaps the most unique and huge social network of the country, in which currently more than 22.52 lakh women and daughters are directly connected. Look at the beauty of this group – on one hand, there are 7.64 lakh college and school-going new generation girls with their technical and modern ideas, while on the other, there are 14.88 lakh experienced housewives and elderly women, who are well-versed with the diversities of the society. When youthful enthusiasm and experience come on one stage, conservative thinking and negative social attitudes have to succumb.

The cry for rights from tribal areas to cities
Public Relations Officer said that this initiative of the Women and Child Development Department has given women from remote tribal areas to urban wards an opportunity to break their restrictions and breathe freely. Today, these Shaurya Dals are not just a protective shield, but have also become a means of ensuring equal access of women on the fronts of health, nutrition, education, employment and social security. Women no longer just stand in queues for government schemes, but have learned to fight for their fundamental rights.

‘Madhya Pradesh’ becomes new role model for the country

He said that Shaurya Dal has proved that real women empowerment comes when the key is handed over to the women themselves. This ‘Shaurya Model’ of Madhya Pradesh, which attacks the negative thinking and stereotypes of the society, is today an example in front of the entire country, which gives the message that when women become protectors of themselves and the society, then no one can stop the change from coming.
