Artist created a picture using the opening lines of Lata Mangeshkar's songs

VIRAL: An artist in Madhya Pradesh's Indore city has created a unique black-and-white photograph of legendary singer late Lata Mangeshkar, using the opening lines of her 90 different hit songs to outline her face.Mangeshkar Born on September 28, 1929 in Indore. The special thing about this 31×23 inch portrait made by artist Milind Dhawale is that the opening lines of the songs have been written at appropriate places on the singer's face as per their meaning.

For example, the opening line of the song 'Bindiya Chamkegi, Chudi Khankegi' has been written in place of the bindi on Mangeshkar's face, while the opening line of the song 'Dheere Dheere Bol Koi Sun Na Le' has been used to create his lips. Dhawale has written 'O people of my country' on Mangeshkar's forehead in this painting because the 55-year-old artist believes that it will inculcate the spirit of patriotism by reminding of the supreme sacrifice of soldiers martyred for the motherland. This song is still present in the minds of Indian citizens.

These lines from the songs in the picture are written so clearly that one can understand the text only after looking at it closely. When seen from a distance, these titles appear only as lines. Speaking to PTI on Saturday, Dhawale said that he had made this picture on Mangeshkar's 90th birthday and he kept trying to gift it to him, but somehow he managed to get this artwork. He wanted to give the picture to the singer, but his wish could not be fulfilled. He said, “I will always regret that I could not meet Mangeshkar and give him this picture.” Mangeshkar breathed his last on February 6, 2022 in Mumbai at the age of 92.
