Bad news for England, star players out of Ashes

Desk. 2 Test matches have been played in Ashes 2025 and both have been in the name of Australia. Australia defeated England by 8-8 wickets in both the matches. Now both the teams are ready to face each other in the third Ashes Test. The third Test will start from December 17 in Adelaide. Before this match, bad news came for Australia on 9 December. Fast bowler Josh Hazlewood has been ruled out of the remaining three Ashes Tests. A few hours after this news, England also got a big shock.

Actually, England’s fast bowler Mark Wood has been ruled out of Australia tour. Wood suffered a left knee injury during the first Test match played in Perth, and after the same injury resurfaced, he will be unable to take part in the remaining Ashes matches. Mark Wood will return to England by the end of the week, where he will work on his recovery and rehab under the supervision of the ECB medical team.

Meanwhile, England and Wales Cricket Board i.e. ECB has included fast bowler Matthew Fisher in the senior squad. Fisher was recently in Australia with the England Lions team and will now join the Test team and serve for the remaining matches of the Ashes series. Now it will be interesting to see how effective Matthew Fisher proves to be with the ball on Australian soil.
